LT Chuck Berg, LT Bill Krayer, AE2 Bob Tanska, ATN3 Allen Michler during Admiral's Inspection early 1962. Various Divisions stood the inspection in dress blues, whites, etc and our crew was selected to stand it in flight suits. CMDR Walt Ring (The Skipper) is following the Admiral.

An F4 Phantom II at NAS Alameda transit ramp1965 - I had my head buried somewhere and took this picture and others. Driving away I realized I could have been in big trouble taking unauthorized pictures on a military installation without proper authorization. Given the year I figured it was soon to head for Vietnam.

AR Michler's Bootcamp. A number of these "MEN" were in VS-891 and activated in 1962. Some of them were from the Twin-Cities and their squadron was activated and filled VS-891 to bring it up to strength.
